Conditional Formatting, Validation and Rules

• Enhance InfoPath form with Validation, Formatting and Lookups

  An existing InfoPath form is enhanced with form field validation, conditional formatting, lookups to a SharePoint list and also to the Profile database (containing information from Active Directory)

• Template Part - Email field with built in Validation

  Template parts in InfoPath are created as reusable set of controls. These controls can be used in any InfoPath Form Templates. Watch this video to see how you can create an email field validation template part and save it for reuse in multiple forms.

Implement Digital Signatures

• Enable sections in an InfoPath form to accept Digital Signatures

  Configure an InfoPath form so the individual sections within the form can be digitally signed. This video also shows how the digital signatures are stored within the form.

  Enable an entire InfoPath form to be digitally signed and publish to users directly through their email inboxes. User fills out the form, signs it and submits the form back through email as well.

  Publish an InfoPath 2007 Form, with digital signatures capability already enabled on sections of the form, to Forms Server. Then Digitally Sign it using digital signatures issued by the Certificate Authority.

  Publish a form created using InfoPath 2007 to a Document Library in SharePoint server running InfoPath Forms Services.

InfoPath integration with SharePoint Designer

• Automate Business Processes using InfoPath forms and SharePoint Designer Workflows

  In this video, a Microsoft Word form is first converted to an InfoPath form then the InfoPath form is enhanced with Validation, Conditional Formatting and Rules to fetch data from a SharePoint list. Subsequently, the form is published to the Forms Server in SharePoint. Lastly, a workflow is created using SharePoint Designer to automate the processing of the form.
